Spiti Valley also known as The Middle Land is Ladakh’s lesser-known and more remote neighbuor. Spiti valley is home to remotest, highest and few of most beautiful villages settled in lap of Trans Himalayas. Here you will find least densely populated villages to1000-year-old monasteries, culture and cuisine so different from rest of India. Spiti valley is also home to turquoise colored rivers to some of the most beautiful High altitude lakes. This is a world, which has the harshest of winters, but home to warmest of people.Travelling through high passes, serene lakes, ancient monasteries, listening to tranquil sound of chants, feeling the chill in the air and smile on your face these are some of the experiences we promise you on a road trip you will remember for the rest of your life. Tour Plan

Over night journey from Delhi to Manali in Semisleeper Volvo Bus.
After months of preparation and years of planning time has arrived to go on Trip of lifetime. Arrive in Manali one of the most beautiful hill station in North India and a gateway for trekking, skiing, backpacking. Unpack and soak in the beauty of this hustling and bustling hill station. Our Team will meet you in the evening so that we get to know each other and group formation and rules for the trip will be explained.
The time arrives to answer the call of the mountains and with Dug Dug Dug… sound of our pipes we are of for the epic road trip. Today we will be riding to Jibhi/Tirthan valley. The road today is very scenic and beautiful. Over night stay and dinner at camp/hotel in Jibhi.
Get up and ride to Sangla valley today which is located in Kinnaur district. By today nomads must be feeling the high of the Himalayas. Lazily riding through the winding roads our caravan will witness many wonders. Today we  will be crossing Jalori Pass Dinner and over night stay in Sangla.
After breakfast we will ride from Sangla to Kalpa . Today we will visiting last village of India Chitkul before Ido–China borderNomads can see the blue waters of Baspa  river. On the way to Kalpa we will visit the famous Suicide point. Dinner and Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Today we will be finally entering Spiti valley just as we cross the Sumdo check post. We will have lunch at Nako. Afterwards we will visist Gue monastery, and if time permits we will visit Dhankar monastery, is on the cliff of a mountain over-looking the confluence of Pin and Spiti river. Due to the loose soil that is prevalent in cold deserts, Dhankar monastery is an endangered site. Finally we will reach Kaza in the evening.
Start early as today will be driving through some of the highest and most beautiful villages of the world. We start our day by visiting the majestic Key monastery. Today’s journey will take you to highest inhabited village of Asia (Komic) to highest post office in world (Hikkim),  to a village which has highest suspension  bridge in Asia (Chicham Bridge), to a village (Langza) where you will find fossils everywhere. This is going to be an adventure filled day where we will be riding In absolute wild terrain moving from village to village. We will return to Kaza for over night stay.
Today we will start our journey toChandratal which is a shining Jewel inSpiti Valley. After passing Kaza, Losar,  Kunzum Pass we take diversion to Chandratal. The mystical and beautiful Chandratal Lake, which translates to Moon Lake, is located at a height of 14,100 feet. The Chandra Bhaga mountain range forms a striking backdrop for the lake. This place is photographer’s paradise who can click photographs of the lake which changes color with passing of every hour.Camping at Chandratal with all the basic necessities will be a life time experience
After waking up in total wilderness and having breakfast we start our journey to Manali via Batal, Chattru, Gramphoo and Atal tunnel. Today is going to be a trechrous ride as we will be riding through numerous water crossings and off roading.We will try to reach Manali by evening. Over night stay in Manali.
Today is leasure day in Manali where you can go visit old Manali cafes. You can also visit Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisth temple, take bath in some of hot water springs. You can also do some souvenir hunting for your friends and family. We will bid farewell to the Himalayas and travel to further destinations. Later in the evening you will catch your bus to Delhi.
You will arrive in Delhi by morning. It’s time for final chat with the fellow nomads and bid adieu to this trip .Saying goodbye is always hard but we promise we will meet back for more such journeys and living in your memories for life. After that you can proceed to your hometown with memories of lifetime. Note: We only provide a brief itinerary of the trip along with major halt points of the trip. All the detailed activities are told once guest arrive at the destination in order to build the excitement factor.

  • Meal Plan MAP ( 8 Breakfast and 8 Dinners)
  • Accommodation on Sharing Basis. Note: Due to remoteness of area we may not be able to fit everybody in same hotel or camp.
  • Due to comfort and safety reasons, we recommend you all carry your helmets for the ride. The helmets which we provide are of standard size so there can be some discrepancies regarding the sizes.
  • RoyalEnfield Himalayan on Rent with fuel.
  • Experienced Road Captain.
  • Experienced Mechanic.
  • First Aid support with portable oxygen cylinders.
  • Support Vehicle for luggage. (No suitcase or trolleys, only 1 rucksack/backpack per person). If someone brings suitcase or trolley INR:500/Day extra needs to be paid.
  • Delhi to Manali and Manali to Delhi Bus ticket in Semi sleeper Volvo
  • GST as applicable.
  • Personal Beverages of any kind.
  • All meals not mentioned in inclusion section.
  • Personal Expenses of any kind.
  • Monuments Entrance fees during sightseeing.
  • Camera Charges.
  • Security Deposit (Refundable) of INR:.10,000/-per bike for rented bikes.
  • Extensions of the tour program or diversions in the tour itinerary for any reasons eg. Due to bad weather, road closure, breakdown or any natural calamity or due to any social or political situation/unrest/strikes, sudden rule changes or shut down of Govt. offices, flight/train delays or flight/train cancellations etc. Any additional expenses incurred due to the same would be borne by the participants.

Advisory:

  • Abide by the instructions given by the team
  • Do not encourage or take part in littering the vicinity in any
  • Avoid roaming during the nights without the consent of the tour leaders/facilitators.
  • Do not disturb the local environment or life in any
  • All sightseeing is subject to weather conditions, political conditions in the
  • Any external damage to the motorbike or the riding gears due to accident or fall of the motorbike , rider & pillion is responsible and pay the compensation. If any rider or pillion wants to leave the trip in between then he/she has to pay the cost for transportation of  bike from the point of leaving the trip till the tour end point.  Company is not responsible for the safety or the insurance (injury or death) claim of  the rider or his/her associates in case of an accident. Rider and pillion themselves will be responsible for such cases.
  • Incase of any medical emergency, evacuation or hospitalization the rider and pillion needs to pay the expenses

  • Good quality shoes for Riding and slippers (for the night).
  • Sunscreen lotion or skin moisturizers.
  • Insect repellents
  • Caps/hats, goggles/sunglasses

  • Good Quality Jacket or any other woolen clothes.

  • ID proof.
  • Photocopies of ID proof.

Cancellation Policy:

Booking Policy:

  • Pay Booking amount of INR:5,000/Per Person as advance.
  • Pay remaining amount 30 days before commencement of tour.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made before 45 days prior to the trip will result in 70% refund.
  • Cancellations made between 30-45 days prior to the trip will result in 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made 30 days before the trip date will receive no refund.
  • Incase of double sharing bike i.e.1 bike 2 rider option, if any one of 2 cancels the trip due to any reason then the other one has to opt for solo ride package. And the amount paid the one who cancel the trip is not adjustable and non refundable.
  • Booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Pending payments may eventually leads to the cancellation of trip.

If you want to make changes to your trip plan:

After you make booking by paying full or partial amount, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by the traveler himself.

Change or Cancellation by The Thumping Nomad:

We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. Occasionally, we may have to make changes due to ForceMajeure Events and we reserve the right to do so at anytime before or during the trip. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date before or during the trip based on the ForceMajeure Events. We also reserve the right under Force Majeure Events to cancel your travel arrangements/ offer alternative dates/revise the itinerary before or during the trip. Any additional cost incurred due to the above mentioned reasons will have to be borne by the traveler himself. There shall be no refund to the traveler under Force Majeure Events. Force Majeure Event shall mean and include any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of The Thumping Nomad, including without limitation, any act of nature or the public enemy, accident, explosion, fire, storm, earthquake, flood, drought, perils of the sea, casualty, strikes, lock- outs, labour troubles, riots, sabotage, terrorists acts, embargo, war (whether or not declared),pandemic, epidemic government alactions, delay in issuance or processing of Visa/permit, change of laws and regulations, orders, or decrees, or other causes of like or different character, etc beyond the control of The Thumping Nomad.
